Beautiful Weather

Yesterday Thom, Beth and I decided to go for a walk I finally got my custom ordered bra and was going to test it out! When I talked to Jeff on the phone earlier he suggested we go to pick up the mail (1.2km round trip), however I didnt think we were ready for that distance since, I have been avoiding activity since Beth has been born due to my fear of breast infections (more on that in a future post).
So, I got out the sled and figured I would just pull the kids around a bit in front of the house. Thom was in heaven, he was certain I took out the sled for him to pull around the 'baby'. He took the rope after I put Beth in and pulled her about 300 feet, after that though he sat down for his 'ride with his sister baby Baff'. It was much easier then I expected, pulling 2 kids on a sled (I know it will only get harder as they grow) and soon we were 1/2 way to the store. Thom and I were not cold yet and Beth was still sleeping so we continued on.
After getting the mail and a chocolate bar for energy :) we laid Beth down and met a native Garsonite - and elderly lady named Frances. It was very commical, she asked Thom about his baby and Thom told her that we call our baby Baff and 'he' is Thom's. They continued to talk and then Frances bent over to look at Beth, Thom did not like that and said she was his and pulled the sled away - Frances then laughed and said that it is good that you are protective of your sister, you should be. After saying good bye and Thom finishing his chat with her (I am not sure she understood all that he said lol) we headed home - into the wind yuck!
Thom proceeded to pull Beth all the way from Garson Rd to Kingsgate (which is forsure 1/2 way). We stopped and made friends with a cat which I was worried would follow us home, luckly he got distracked by some garbage that he started to eat -I am pretty sure I know what/who tore into my garbage last week now.
At this point, Thom said he was too cold to pull and he gave me the rope. We walked half way to our house from the courner and Beth woke up, Thom said baby need to eat and climbed into the sled so I could quickly pull them the rest of the way home in order to nurse Beth.
Thus ending our 1 1/2 hour walk to get the mail!
