Just a continuation of the running away post, Thom love to play catch me at home!
I think/hope that when he runs away in public locations he is (most of the time) trying to play. So, I have decided on days when I have a to-do list that I need to complete and do not want to have to worry about catching him to carry a boy leash along with me. My goal is to only put it on him once he trys to run away and that will be the penalty, a leash a very short leash.
I am curious to see if I will need to use the leash or if it will just sit on the bottom of the stroller?
I will admit I think I will end up using it.
I am wondering about what kind of looks people will give me, will it be like breast feeding in public where you get positive and negative responses or will it all be negative. I should admit that I have alway felt that leashing you child is/was innapropriate.
However when we were in Disney World in March it was a safety issue, if Thom was out of my sight due to playing further away from me or the rest of our party someone could have stolen him. With the leash I knew no one could get him without my knowledge!
Anyways, I will keep you all posted on the need for a leash and if I have had a feedback from the public!
