As I begin typing Beth is cooing and smiling at me, she has been doing this for the last 20 minutes! It is the first time we have had a conversation without her wanting to nurse or her groaning and grunting or getting the hiccups. Oops, I spoke to soon - I am nursing now.
O.K. I can continue - Tom is eating his second breakfast and Beth is now asleep.
We had a fantastic weekend together! Friday we had a relaxing morning, making and eating pancakes! Then all of a sudden it was time to leave for the Barrett Easter dinner!
Saturday we went shopping to get items we needed for our trip but the stop was at costco and the store and traffic was horrible so we called it a day and relaxed at my parents house instead! Thom was invited for his usual Saturday night sleepover so Jeff and I went home to pack.
Sunday, was a big rush in the morning - I woke up by getting spitup in my face so Beth and I got cleaned up and did some laundry and packed for Beth. After feeding her we rushed to my parents to get Thommy to drive to the farm for a late lunch (lupper). Beth got to meet dozens of people, or at least they got to meet her! Thommy had a great time playing with Ava and his second cousins Cole and Kade. All Thom ate of Easter dinner was one bun and a cookie, to much playing to be done (however he ate paska on the drive home - thanks to my Aunt Erna's care package!).
We had an interesting bed time thou, for the first time we did not have his favourite dino which he sleeps we everynight at home (it was left at my parents in our haste). Together, Jeff and I were able to get him to go to sleep after many tears were shed.
Today the first stop I will be making is to get the dinosaur!
